How to join
You can come along to any of our sessions listed in the 'Upcoming' panel at the top of the page for a free taster session, with absolutely no obligation to join.
Whether you want to join to learn essential lifesaving skills, get fit, gain qualifications for employment, or just have a swim, we have activities for all ages. We have a number of members across the UK, so if you can't make it to one of our training sessions but would like to support the club then you can join and keep up to date with all that's going on in the club.
Membership is only £15 per year for adults and £7.50 per year for under-18s, and you get loads of great benefits. Simply download a membership form and send it along with a cheque made payable to NSVL, or hand it in at any session.
Junior members aged 16 or 17 should also complete the Contact Permission Form if possible.
Existing members are reminded that they must stay in continuous membership to be eligible for all the benefits of being a club member, such as at cost lifeguard renewals. The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December, and membership must be renewed by 31st January to be considered in continuous membership.
