Please note: Some employers of beach lifeguards set fitness, medical and eyesight standards in addition to requiring prospective employees to hold the National Beach Lifeguard Qualification. If you are considering taking the course to gain employment, it is your responsibility to check with your prospective employer that you meet the standards required.
